Evolution in a ZooA sharp cry broke out from a nearby cell, destroying the balmy hush of the lazy summer day. Its eyelids, the eyelids of an Anaconda, jolted open, revealing a false sense of alarm, alert for a non-existent enemy. No, that was one of the few true benefits in the keep. Protection from harm. The cry continued, it seemed far more distant this time. Everyone was sure of that. As usual, there was nothing to be afraid of. Sleep tempted all of the prisoners, but something prevented that.
